The spit can be crossed at low tide (with caution) to view the ruins of the outer lighthouse residence which is located on the far-east side of Fingal Island. Surrounded by National Parkland and with community in mind, Fingal Bay is very appealing to young families and retirees. Watch the whales migrate north from the vantage point at Barry Park or enjoy a picnic BBQ at one of the facilities along the foreshore. Located only 800m to Fingal Beach.
